Kaleidoscope, described by The Irish Times as “one of those life-saving, spirit-lifting, pioneering Cultural Ventures....the sort of thing our Cultural Ambassador should be shouting about" is going on the road this summer.
Kaleidoscope Caravan is bringing it's unique blend of classical music, from ancient to experimental in a bespoke salon setting, across the country, to some of Ireland's finest festivals and venues. The alchemy is sure to be unforgettable.

August sees us at Kilkenny Arts Festival, bringing two late nights of music to the Kilkenny Design Centre.

On the 10th, our evening is inspired by ideas of the outsider and the persecuted and misunderstood woman throughout history. We explore these ideas through the music of Brahms, Byrd, Tavener and the jazz vocalist Christine Tobin. Paul Muldoon, Pulitzer Prize-winning poet, has responded to these themes with an original ballad  "Dame Alice and I". He will be there on the night, reading his work and hearing it's setting to music by Christine Tobin.

On the 11th, we bring together performers appearing at the festival in an exciting cocktail of music from Biber and Schubert to Ben Schlepper-Connolly and Steve Reich, finishing with an exciting improvisation by Europe's finest masters of this art. We bring together Philip Jeck, Franceso Turrisi, Matthew Nolan and Bryan O'Connell in an exciting ending to an amazing summer for Kaleidoscope.
